The CIRCUS SXSW 2013 WITH ROBERT GLASPER AND ERYKAH BADU
The Couch Sessions returned to Austin for the second installment of
THE CIRCUS franchise. Becoming one of the most talked about parties at SXSW, The Circus combined amazing performances from Jesse Boykins III, Hiatus Kaiyote,
Cherub, Body Language, Allen Stone, and Amp Live, with headliners Robert Glasper and Erykah Badu. Featuring a shaving activation by New Amsterdam Vodka, a sailing/boat shoes activation by Shellback Rum, and
participation from such sponsors as Yelp, Access 4 Artists, Songbooth, Red Bull and Pepsi, the event became one of the most talked about showcases at SXSW.
NUance at the Nu Hotel
NUance is a creative series of ongoing hotel room installations highlighting the country's most sought out artists and designers. NUance transforms four hotel room walls into blank canvases, allowing a hand selected series of artists the ability to create breathtaking designs. Each room project will also be matched with a custom music playlist curated by The Couch Sessions.

Couchsessions NEXT partnered with Digital DUMBO and several other organizations to curate dd:IMPACT, a one day tech lifestyle conference that asked the question...How has Tech IMPACTED you lifestyle. The conference was a sold out affair featuring representatives from Warby Parker, Pinterest, Tumblr, Foodspotting, Cantora Records, RCRD LBL and more.
Attracting over 150 carefully selected influencers in Food, Music, Design, and Lifestyle, dd:IMPACT became a groundbreaking force in tech conferences.

The Circus SXSW Presented By Muve Music
How do you bring trendsetting music and forward thinking tastemakers to Austin, Texas? That is what Cricket Wireless asked us back in 2011. The group recently launched their mobile-only music streaming service Muve Music and wanted to get the platform into the hands of our trendsetting clientele. Working with Cricket we created The Circus, a two day extravaganza spanning over 18 hours and blending hip-hop, indie rock, and electro-soul for a diverse clientele.

JON “LAW” HEREDIA
Jon Heredia is the co-owner and Brand Manager of The Couch Sessions and Triplestar Media Group. With years of experience in the music and fashion industry, Jon produces large concert events throughout the United States ranging from the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, showcases for the SXSW music conference, CMJ music conference, the L Magazine festival, fashion shows during New York’s Fashion Week, to underground warehouse events in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
In addition to music event production, Jon is a New York State licensed attorney and in-house counsel for the popular menswear clothing brand Rocksmith Tokyo and Wu Tang Brand Limited. He also provides legal and creative-direction consultation services to musicians, fashion brands, and record labels. Jon has spoken at numerous Bar Association conventions such as the American Constitutional Society on the divergence of law and music.
WINSTON "STONE" FORD"
Recognized as an international music tastemaker by industry insiders and musicians "in the know," Stone (aka Winston Ford) is the creator of The Couch Sessions, the premier online destination for alternative urban music and culture. Stone is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Couch Sessions and Triplestar media group. In addition to blogging for the site, he consults for brands, record labels, and organizations, merging music, fashion, food, and culture.
In 2011, UV Vodka and SPIN Magazine named Stone a “blogger of great taste,” and he was also named a Heineken 100 Influencer. He has also spoken at several universities, including American University in Washington, DC and Baruch College CUNY in New York City.
